New approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is one of the most common causes diseases: 25% population European countries have signs NAFLD, 10–20% patients with steatosis develop an inflammatory process (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis), which, if not treated, can transform into fibrosis and cirrhosis. In people, NAFLD diagnosed, prognosis inaccurate, there are no licensed methods treating disease. this review, we discuss some recent developments in focusing on definition, diagnosis, treatment.
